How we make money — and why it doesn't move the ranking.
Most comparison sites bury this. We lead with it, because the whole point of ProvenPayouts is that the order is earned, not bought.
We earn a commission when a reader signs up through one of our links — but the commission never changes the score or the order. The ranking is our editorial ProvenPayouts Score, computed the same way for every operator. If an operator pays badly or we can't monetise it, it still gets ranked on merit.
Proof the order isn't for sale
Rollbit is listed editorially and ranked, but carries no affiliate link — its programme's exclusivity terms are incompatible with an independent comparison, so we don't monetise it and say so on the page. A site that ranks by commission would simply drop it. We keep it because the reader deserves the read. Our CTAs are also licensed-only and geo-gated: an outbound link only appears where the operator is permitted in your region — which means we routinely show reviews we can't earn from at all.
What we do — and don't — claim
Our rankings are editorial assessments from public data, licence records and player reputation — not first-hand withdrawal tests. Figures like typical payout time come from operator terms and player reports, not our own timed cashouts. Where we can verify a fact against a primary source — a licence number against the official register — we cite it and date it. We would rather under-claim and be right than over-claim and be caught.
