US sweepstakes casinos
Sweepstakes casinos, also sold as social casinos, are the one casino-style product we would link to in the United States. They run as promotional sweepstakes, and the brand terms we could read (Jolly Sweeps, Pulsz and WOW Vegas) say they offer no real-money gambling. This page explains how they work, lists five brands with facts from their own terms, their affiliate programmes or a named third party, each with its source, and shows the only states where our links could open.

This page is set up to earn us money. When a brand's affiliate programme approves us, the button beside it links through our tracker, and if you sign up we may earn commission. Today none of these links is live, so every button below says so instead of linking. We have not played at or bought coins from any of these brands. The facts below come from each brand's own terms, its affiliate programme's pages or a named third-party list, and each brand shows its sources. How we make money.
How the two-coin model works
- An entertainment coin. Gold Coins (WOW Coins at WOW Vegas) are for play only. You can buy them, but they have no cash value and can never be redeemed for anything.
- A sweepstakes coin. Sweeps Coins or Sweepstakes Coins are the sweepstakes entry. You get them free: sign-up and daily log-in bonuses, social-media contests, or a request sent by post, the “alternative method of entry”. Some Gold Coin packs add them as a free bonus. Sweepstakes coins you win in play can be redeemed for cash or prizes, subject to each brand's minimum and its verification checks.
- No purchase necessary. Buying Gold Coins must never be needed to enter or to win, and must not improve your chances. The sweepstakes rules of Pulsz and WOW Vegas both say so in capitals.
- Not a licensed casino. The model rests on US sweepstakes law, state by state, not on a gambling licence. The terms of Jolly Sweeps, Pulsz and WOW Vegas all require disputes to go to individual arbitration, not a court, unless you opt out within a set time after you join.
- State law is moving. States have started to ban the model, and laws in California (AB 831) and New York (S5935) reach sites that promote sweepstakes casinos as well as the brands. No link of ours is live yet; when one is, it can open in 23 states at most, and we re-check that list against a fixed deadline; if a check is missed, our US links close on their own.
The brands
Listed alphabetically. We do not score these brands: the ProvenPayouts Score covers the crypto casinos we review, and we have no comparable evidence base for sweepstakes brands. Where a brand's own terms could not be read, the fact is marked as not verified rather than filled in.

Where our links could open
A tick means our link to that brand could open in that state: the state is one of the 23 on our list, and the brand's exclusions, as we apply them, do not cover it. In every other state we link to none of these brands. A tick is not a promise that the brand accepts you, and it does not mean a link is live yet; the brand's own terms are the final word. The list was last checked on 24 September 2026; if the next check is not done by 31 October 2026, our US links close on their own.

Legendz and Jolly Sweeps share one affiliate programme, so we apply one exclusion list to both: Sweepsy's Legendz list, which excludes Nebraska, North Dakota and Ohio. Jolly Sweeps' own terms exclude none of the 23 states and allow Ohio for casino play only. We keep the wider list until the programme confirms its own in writing.
- Buying coins is spending real money, even though the coins have no cash value. Decide on a monthly amount before you start, and stop when it is gone.
- The games work like casino games: over time they pay out less than they take in. A redemption is luck, not income.
- Legendz, Jolly Sweeps and WOW Vegas each publish a responsible-play policy. Read the brand's policy for limits and self-exclusion before you buy coins.
